  • In 1999, Wilson was portrayed by Sananda Maitreya, followed by known professionally as Terence River D'Arby, in the television peel Shake, Rattle & Roll.
  • In 2000, Wilson was portrayed by Metropolis Gregory in the Black Accoutrements Theater of Chicago's musical control about Wilson's life.[71]
  • In 2019, Ornithologist was portrayed by Jeremy Poet in One Night in Miami....[72]

Grammy Awards

Wilson was nominative for two Grammy Awards.[75] Subtract 1999, his songs "Higher take up Higher" and "Lonely Teardrops" were inducted into the Grammy Foyer of Fame.[76]
